Wane does not collect your data.
That is the whole policy. It is short because the app was built without anywhere to send anything. The rest of this page only explains what that means in practice.
Every item you add — its name, store, dates, price, notes, and any receipt photo or PDF you attach — is written to the app’s own storage on your device. Nothing else reads it. It is included in your device backup if you back your device up, and it is deleted when you delete the app.
Wane asks for the camera and, separately, your photo library so it can read a receipt. That photo is processed entirely on your device using Apple’s Vision framework to guess the merchant, date and total, and it is optionally saved alongside the item if you keep it. The image is never uploaded or sent anywhere — there is nowhere in the app for it to go.
The app’s privacy manifest declares this formally to Apple: no collected data types, no tracking, and no tracking domains.
Wane Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system as a single, non-consumable unlock. Apple processes the payment; Antipode Technologies never sees your payment details. Whether you hold the unlock is read from Apple’s StoreKit framework on your device. Apple’s own privacy policy covers that transaction.
Wane is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
If the app ever gains a feature that transmits data — it has none today — this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the change will be described in the release notes.

Wane is a reminder tool, not a legal record. The dates and details it stores are only as accurate as what you entered or what the OCR scan read off a receipt. Always check the original receipt, warranty card or store policy before relying on a date shown in the app.
